The rotating pan plug seal is composed of a U-shaped sealing jacket and a V-shaped corrosion-resistant metal spring. Its sealing outer ring is followed by a flange, which is tight in the groove to prevent the rotation of the seal, so that the short and thick dynamic seal lip can play a low friction, long life, and can play a good scraping role even in the medium of high viscosity. At low pressure or zero pressure, the metal spring provides the main sealing force, and as the system pressure rises, the main sealing force is provided by the system pressure, so as to ensure a tight seal from zero to high pressure. Its sealing jacket and spring can be matched with a variety of suitable materials according to the working condition, so that there is a wider range of applications beyond the hydraulic field, such as in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.

The rotary sealing has special requirements for the mating surface. We recommend that the material hardness of the mating surface should be at least 55HRC, the quenching depth should be at least 0.3mm, and the unquenched mating surface should have at least 170HB Brinell hardness. Shaft surface roughness Ra=0.1-0.2um, static groove surface roughness Ra=0.3-0.5um.
